Joey is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of expertise in finance, strategy, and digital innovation. His career began with KPMG and PWC Bermuda, followed by valuable commercial experience at Shell and Sime Darby Group. In recent years, he has shifted his focus towards the start-up scene, co-founding several ventures along the way:
- KLEAN, a recycling start-up promoting a digital container deposit scheme through its network of AI-driven Reverse Vending Machines
- PurelyB, a wellness content portal turned ecommerce SME championing ancient wellness remedies through its superfood blends from Malaysia’s very own rainforests
- vCFOur, a fractional CFO service company tailored for early-stage startup founders to foster business growth offering advisory around cloud accounting, fundraising, and monetisation strategies
Joey currently serves as an Independent Board Member at IFast Capital, a SC-licensed wholly-owned subsidiary of IFast Corporation Ltd, one of Asia’s largest listed fintech platforms headquartered in Singapore.
