GUIDELINES TO OBTAIN TEMPORARY VAT
Temporary VAT is required for import, export and re-export activities via Sri Lanka Customs. For those who have not obtained a permanent Value Added Tax registration and the same, it can be obtained using the IRD e-services.
If registration details need to be updated, such details should be updated before applying for Temporary VAT.

- For Exports: Purchase order / Purchase agreement
