
Asia is at the forefront of global trade growth. According to the DHL Trade Atlas 2025, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines are forecast to rank among the top 30 countries globally for both the speed and scale of trade growth between 2024 and 2029. South Asia and Southeast Asia are leading the charge, with projected annual growth rates of up to 6%, driven by supply chain diversification, booming manufacturing sectors, and digital transformation. East Asia & Pacific already accounts for 33% of global trade and continues to grow, while China remains a powerhouse, contributing 12% of forecasted global trade growth.
